Did you know the city of Las Vegas has a long and treasured history with the sport of tennis? Professional tennis player Andre Agassi who won multiple professional tennis championships on the global stage of tennis between the 1980s and early 2000s is from the city of Las Vegas, Nevada! Las Vegas has a handful of excellent tennis facilities spread throughout the entire Las Vegas Valley. Many of the public parks in Las Vegas Valley offer public tennis courts to play on for free; in addition there are also a number of private tennis clubs avid tennis players can join around Las Vegas Valley. Tourists and visitors to the city of Las Vegas can also find a number of dedicated tennis stores as well as general sporting goods stores to purchase tennis equipment and accessories while on vacation. The Las Vegas Valley area also hosts a number of tennis events all throughout the year including the Las Vegas Tennis Open held at the Frank and Vicki Fertitta Tennis Complex at UNLV, the Henderson Tennis Open which takes place at the DragonRidge Tennis Center inside the DragonRidge Country Club in Henderson, various USTA tennis leagues for both singles and doubles, introductory tennis workshops and clinics for people interested in learning how to play tennis, as well as tennis lessons from many certified USTA professional tennis coaches throughout Las Vegas Valley. Tennis Courts and Tennis Facilities

Description and Information: Large outdoor tennis facility offering 23 tennis courts. This is one of the largest tennis facilities in the entire Las Vegas Valley and one of our favorite locations for the sport of tennis. Reservations are required to play at the Darling Tennis Center for a low hourly rate, the good thing is you don't need a membership to reserve and play on the tennis courts. Courts can be booked two days in advanced for non-members, and six days in advanced for members. The 11 acre facility has a Pro Tennis Shop which offers racket stringing services, sales of tennis shoes, rackets and equipment. There is also an Annual Membership Pass available to use the tennis courts, USTA League events, and private and group tennis lessons taught by certified USTA tennis coaches.
 
Life Time - Tennis Courts

Description and Information: Life Time is a fitness club located just west of Green Valley Ranch. The facility contains 8 indoor tennis courts. A membership and reservations are needed to play on the tennis courts.
 
Frank and Vicki Fertitta Tennis Complex

Description and Information: The Frank and Vicki Fertitta Tennis Complex is NOT open to the public for use, but we feel it is an important part of tennis in the Las Vegas Valley so include it on this page. The complex was opened in 1993 and consists of 12 tennis courts utilized by the UNLV tennis team. The complex is also the location where the Las Vegas Tennis Open, a popular professional tennis tournament, takes place.

Description and Information: The DragonRidge Tennis Club offers 5 lighted outdoor tennis courts available for use only to its members. The tennis club offers a handful of programs and events for both juniors and adults of different skill levels. Some offerings include private and group tennis instructions, club tennis socials, USTA singles and adult tennis tournaments, USTA leagues, tennis clinics, a Junior Tennis Academy, and tennis camps during the spring/summer. The Henderson Tennis Open, a popular tennis tournament in the Las Vegas Valley, is also held at the DragonRidge Tennis Club.

Universal Tennis in Las Vegas Valley
Description and Information: Universal Tennis is a website and mobile app which allows tennis players to find tennis matches, leagues, and tournaments around the world including in Las Vegas Valley. Tennis players can use the website/app to schedule tennis matches with other players at any tennis court they are allowed to play on in the Las Vegas Valley area. Events which have been held through the website/application include the Life Time Green Valley Adult Memorial Day Weekend Tournament, Las Vegas Singles Flex Leagues, Las Vegas Doubles Flex Leagues, and more. As of May 13, 2024 (the last time we checked) there were 883 members in the Las Vegas Tennis Flex League on Universal Tennis.
